Mari has always been intrigued by how an event is made up of so many small decisions. In her mind, event planning is a large puzzle, each decision is a puzzle piece, and eventually, the puzzle is complete-the event is over, reconciled, and data is analyzed. Each decision, regardless of how minor it may seem, is a missing piece to the puzzle.
Mari graduated from Marquette University with a major in Public Relations and a Minor in Social Welfare and Justice. Before LOMA, she worked for non-profits planning events focused on community engagement and fundraising. The events ranged from large galas, cross state bike rides, golf outings, BINGO, and truly everything in between!
Outside of work, you can catch Mari cheering on a Wisconsin sports team (Bucks, Packers, and Marquette basketball are her favorites) or checking out a new local brewery.
